One Year of Microevents!
It’s been just over a year since the very first Microevent, so we thought it was time to look back at what we’ve managed to squeeze into one year of tiny events.
From CubeGuessr to parkour, bingos, competitions and everything in between, here is Microevents: Year One Wrapped!
Since the start of the programme, June 12, 2025, we hosted 18 Microevents, receiving over 280 submissions with an average of 22 participants per event!
And of course, there had to be prizes. 66 prizes were awarded in total, with Anything Spring taking the crown for the latest prize pool of any single event at 7 prizes.
Our most participated in event? CubeGuessr!

The very first Microevent ran from June 12-18, kicking off what would soon become a year full of events.
Things took off quickly, with July 2025 becoming our busiest month for Microevents. Fast-forward a year, and our most recent event ran from July 17–July 31!
Plenty of participants managed to get their hands on a prize, but a few names kept finding their way back onto the podium...
Dreamer, Mats, and Dinosamer all became multiple time winners, each securing 3 wins throughout the year!
Satirit, however, takes the Microevent Year One Champion title, with an impressive 4 wins!
As for consistency, Dreamer takes another record with the longest winning streak, winning 3 Microevents in a row!
There was quite a bit happening behind the scenes too.
Across the year, 13 staff members helped bring Microevents to life, and our planning channel somehow accumulated a rather reasonable…
3,224 messages.
Not every idea escaped the our vision board, either. 5 planned Microevents never saw the light of day… yet.
Some things are perhaps better left in the drafts.

What started as a new little experiment has now become 18 events, 280+ participations, 66 prizes and thousands of messages and hours behind the scenes.
