Maybe you can do this in your own color with a command

I would not do that. Every rank has his own color. I never saw a yellow emerald. ;) Being able to change the color of your prefix could also cause a lot of confusion with players their rank. They change it to orange and act like a mod. -1

No, I don't mean this, for example:
|Emerald|

These animated characters beside the word: Iron, Lapiz, Gold, Diamond, Emerald or Obsidian example.

I know, but most people don't seem to understand what you mean, so I thought I'd explain it a little.

I like this prefixes so I say no -1

My personal opinion about this is that it looks a little bit spammy. I pefer to stick with the old prefixes :)

|Emerald|
|Obsidian|

Maybe a cool suggestion is that the rank himself could choose?

In my opion the old prefixes, they lines doesn't match the colour of the rank.

The new ones makes my whole text shake, and as @King_FTW said, it looks like spam. So against what i would normally say, #OldSchool
