I got a simple solution for you: solo games or play with a coordinated friend. If you play with a friend, play a map where only you and your party can fill up 1 team (so 2 of you -> join 2 player team maps). Nowadays, I do that and avoid the 3+ player maps (3 if we're desperate for a game asap and think we can handle 2v3s).
I feel you because I had a game where my teammate AFKed for the entire game (didn't lift a single finger at all other than getting 1 chest and trapping himself in a cage).
