Fireworks going off would look nice, but yeah, the lag. Perhaps just use red glass and/or wool to make fire :3 Also, can we call him cubezilla? Jinjo likes the name, as he chose it as the name for the enderdragon on factions =)

That's why I figured only maybe once a minute tops? The effect only lasts about 10 seconds tops. You'd get more lag just from the sheer number of players in the lobby than you would from the dragon breath. I also posted less laggy ones earlier in this thread if you're interested, but dissuaded by concerns about lag.

Lag is something that they want to avoid as often as possible, as it's what makes this server so popular. I doubt after the consideration of lag your idea, as interesting a concept as it is, will not be added unfortunately ;-;
