If you go to those threads without a reply over 2 weeks its still necroposting there is no difference.

• No necroposting on threads that have been inactive for over 2 weeks. Does not apply to news posts, games, or introduction threads.

As others have said, it's been suggested multiple times before but I do support it. I'd like them to be auto locked instead of having people get warnings for it if they didn't mean it, as you said there will be some people who do it on purpose but having an auto lock on this would really stop that. It's also the fact that when someone does necropost someone always tags 2-3 staff members when only one is needed. You don't even need to tag a staff member, just post the thread in the #staff-help channel on Discord. If you do tag a staff member, you are actually necroposting when you really don't need to.

Tbh, if you go to #staff help, staff members don't do it. I asked them to close a thread that had been necro and didn't even touch it until the next day -.-

But they did something about it. It could be that none of them are available at the time. If you don't get a reply in maybe 2 hours post it again.

I thunk this idea was shot down because


1. The thread couldve locked and the issue wasnt solved prompying a new thread
2. This would lock threads that dont need to be such as bug reports, news, and introductions

So add a feature that wouldn't do that.
