Skyblock Mobs disappearing distance

hello i hope you are well
how many blocks for the mobs to disappear? . if I put the spawner close to me (less than 30 blocks) and I made a current of water which push the mobs away from the spawner and therefore from me (an idea of a farm)
For how many blocks the mobs will disappear ?

Quick question: Is it bannable to attempt to impersonate someone and then hacking using that impersonated name to get the original user banned? I'm asking this because one of my friends might fall victim to it and I'm concerned.
