Lower The Prices Of Ranks/Comparing!

So.. I was on cubecraft store and I still can't believe how much the ranks are! My Currency is USD($).
I'm Just gonna compare how much it is to cubecraft ranks to other server ranks. Below...... I'm Just gonna compare 3 ranks.. Iron Lapiz and Gold to hypixel ranks.. Vip Vip+ and MVP...

Iron Lapiz Gold(Which I have)
$19.26 USD $32.11 USD $44.96 USD

VIP Rank [Lifetime] VIP+ Rank [Lifetime] MVP Rank[Lifetime
$6.99 USD $14.99 USD $29.99 USD


Now Lets Compare the ranks So Iron to Vip $19.26-$6.99=$12.27 That's a Big Difference! Now lets compare Lapiz with VIP+ So.. $32.11-$14.99=$17.12 That's a Huge Difference! Now Lets Compare Gold to MVP $44.96-$29.99=$14.97 Thats a Big Difference too. So $12.27 Iron to VIP, $17.12 Lapiz to VIP+, 14.97 Gold to MVP... So My suggestion is to lower the rank prices! Have a good day! :)

There was another similar thread about this topic which also compared the rank costs of cubecraft against this other server and what I wrote there applies here:

On top of the (at least IMO) moronic VAT system, cubecraft probably has a different rationale behind ranks than this other said server. What you conveniently failed to show is the rest of each server's store. I'll do a more comprehensive comparison below, I'm not too familiar with euros but I'll use it as the currency because it's what the OP Used and I want to be consistent. Also the "normal" price will be without any sales. Other than the ranks, these shops include:

Cubecraft:

- Has 3 point multiplier options (boosters are the equivalent on the other server) which have a normal price of between 13.60 and 22.68 EUR.
- Has 2 options for buying miniatures (companions are the equivalent on the other server) which have a normal price of 7.03 EUR for a pack of 3

And that's it.

The other server has:

- Boosters which range from 5.24 to 13.12 EUR
- Individual companions which range from 3.49 to 8.74 EUR.
Now here come some buyable options that don't exist at all on cubecraft's shop:
- Mystery boxes (a lot like cubelets) which cost between 5.24 and up to 35.00 EUR for limited time summer boxes. These come in packs of 10, 20, or 50 depending on price.
- loot chests which cost between 7.86 and 30.63 EUR.
- gifts (which are basically mystery boxes you give to other players) that are priced the same as mystery boxes.

What does that mean? It means that cubecraft has to rely much more on ranks for revenue than the other server, and that's why the prices have to be high. The other server here has lots of buyable options on top of ranks, but cubecraft has little, meaning that cubecraft's shop has to make the most out of selling ranks. Now you run into a catch 22 of ranks being expensive and worth buying, but not having the money to pay a developer to make new features for a rank to make it worth buying. I'm sure if cubecraft could just magically give more to obsidian rank, they would. Cubecraft has a limited amount of resources, and making more stuff for ranks would mean less resources being put into games or Sentinel or updates for games or whatever projects they are currently working on.​

I don't mind the prices as they are now. There are no one forcing you to buy a rank and therefore I do not find it "wrong" having the prices higher than other servers.

As for the thread if me not agreeing with Pandaa__ wasn't enough to say how I feel about this
it just doesn't make sense from any stand point, it also goes against the point of having sales if it is already that cheap by the time sales would come

As a diamond ranker and a MVP ranker, I can tell you they are very different. I mean cube needs that money, but is it worth it? We all have our opionions.
If you lower it now, then players who paid the orginal price will feel scammed.
One thing I do support however is bigger sales, 10%? Really? 20% Nah not gonna buy it 30% Not a lot but I'll think about it.
Compared to Hypixle's

Cube should have a really big sale ( Bigger than 75% ) and it will attract a lot of players to donate, which the money earned could be a lot more than what you earn a day with the original price.

I believe that the ranks should be a little less expensive. The ranks aren't worth their money so it really isn't worth buying it. If Cubecraft added some more special features that weren't against the EULA then buying a rank could be looked into.

I was looking for the rank prices, and I think the first rank (iron) price should be reduced a bit. 20usd approximately for the first rank is a little expensive...

Reduce rank price - I understand where you're coming from, but this isn't going to happen. These prices have been picked for a reason and there's lots of legal behind the scene complications. As we're a UK based company we have to charge VAT to anyone in the European Union, compared to other servers that are registered in the US (Hence why their ranks may appear cheaper). A better suggestion maybe more sales? Not sure...

Basically it's because the server is in the UK and have to pay for extra charges. While other US servers don't have to pay this charge they can make prices cheaper.

Lol ikr ? They think they can charge 26$ for lapiz , more expensive than minceraft itself , and it has basically no perks. They should reduce all prices . None of the ranks are worth it . As for people feeling cheated , did you guys feel cheated during sale?

No . You should have known that prices are susceptible to change.

In conclusion i agree. Reduce the price for ranks

Good idea dude i really like it, i hope they will lower the price of ranks... Cause it's a lot.... MVP+ is 44 USD and Obsidian 150+ EUR

Ranks will not be decreased as players who bought more expensive ranks, Emerald or Obsidian for example, will feel scammed and will demand the money the lost back.

If you want to get a rank without spend to much money (I don't think that they are expensive because ranks were made to keep the server running) you should participate on giveaways (they make them on Twitter or on livestreams (www.cubecraft.tv)) or get a good sale like 50% off.
