I think when your talking in MC chat it should say for example:
[Diamond][36]Luminated_Pantz: Hi guys this is a test.
Normaly you never ever here about your rank number. I belive it would be cool

Half and half IMO.
Right now, we don't really need to make chat more colorful and etc, however, it won't really change anything at all; it's just a few extra numbers.
However, it may be possible that it may lead people to be cockier and also bring others to tease the lower levels.
