Hello there, I think many of us misses spears in lucky islands and I am here to give my opinion on this and I share for all of you to do the same.
1. Is Spear too op?
It can be, but then again most weapons in the right situation are too op. Yes you can one shot alot of players just with this item that cost 1 diamond to make, but you also have a item in this game aka Shields that cost 1 iron and block any damage and most players don't even know how to counter an shield player. All Im saying is, spear is op but you need someone to master it and it is also so easy to counter. Lets say someone jumps from high distance to spear you, just walk backwards or place a block above ur head. If someone uses an elytra to spear you just be vigilant and place blocks in front of you and pray that he misses.
2. Balanced items
Giga sword, trapped chest, shield, explosive bow (mainly on op mode). 3 of these items can one shot you, so I ask you, why not spears?
3. My thoughts
I personally think keeping shields in the game and removing spears after 1 day is crazy. Like previously mentioned people already started countering spears being more aware within a day of them in the game +-, but you take 1 player of of this gamemode and give them a shield and I promiss you they have a 70% chance of winning because most people don't know how to counter shields and they are so easy to craft. And because of this fact i would like to give my suggestion that would improve lucky islands for all of us.
4. Suggestion
Make both a spear (atleast stone spear) and shield be only obtainable trough lucky blocks, atleast this way they are in the game but luck based and you won't see soo many people running around with both items. OR just bring back spears and keep shields too.
