invisible mobs

i think its a bug but sometimes i am fighting mobs and some of them are invisseble and get damage from them but cant fight them

That's a Optifine bug, relog and it should be fixed.

I reported this as a bug report and it is closed because the reason was Optifine, I think the question has been answered, can someone lock this thread?

Edit: It was closed a few weeks.

Talking about this, I do not have Optifine and it happened to me too..
So ermm, any ideas why it would have happened to me?
