Let's not derail the topic.

As for it being a rip-off, sorry to say but it's not. The kit doesn't scale with the modifiers and probably never will. I don't think it ever should as it would be a bit too op. While in the game (when it's OP items), you can buy the prot5 armor from the villager.

Egg armor is op in hardcore, so it is handy to use it on hardcore, it isn't good in op cause it hasn't got protection 5. Don't use the kit in op mode....

I wasn't saying the kit was worthless as a whole. I was just explaining that it doesn't magically get enchanted with prot5 when you have a game with OP items. You just have to strategically use it or just use it in general. Also, the reason I didn't lock the thread was because sometimes a player wants to reply to what someone has said and that can't happen when the thread is locked.

If you want the armor from the kit to be prot5 when playing OP, you should also like the fact of removing this kit for hardcore games, cuz that's how it works (This kit for hardcore is perfect and really OP).
I don't think that this should be implemented, as it's OK imo. Just choose another kit :P
