Half HP in Skywars

SkyWars actually halves the damage of axes. So a fully charged axe hit does 5 base damage. So it cant one-shot you.

I wasn’t trying to imply that you could be one-shotted (?). But think about this, someone rushes you and hits you with an axe, assuming damage, you have half you health left ( 1/4 of normal) what are you going to do, one more hit and you’re gone.. and this is only in solo. In teams.. if they both have an axe.. yeah you see where I al going with this right?

Maybe it is cool to add a new update on Skywars with half hp at begin!
Like in Eggwars it is possible but in Skywars it could be much harder because you have also 1 life.
Is this a cool idea?

I don't think that's gonna work, because what you're saying is you'll be dead in two if you have a good sword.

Creative idea, but unfortunately I think that will be an update...

If axes do less than the average sword like I said, then why are you still talking about axes, they are out of the equation. So no, I have no idea what you are talking about.

I think you made a very often made statistical mistake. Using averages, the average damage the weapon does doesn't matter, is the situation I presented the only important information about the damage of the weapon is its absolute damage.
Assume all players have 4 points. And you can use one of two 'weapons', one weapon takes away 2 point every 2 seconds and the other 1 point every 0.9 seconds. Obviously the second weapon takes away more point on average (1.111... to 1 every second) Now if you are in teams of two. What would be the best weapon? Only using averages, the latter. But that would be a mistake, as if both of the players take the first weapon the can eliminate another person with the first play (2x2 = 4, 4-4 = 0) This works because the first play is independent of the cool down.
This is the same case in Minecraft, yes I am aware that you can't hit a full blow with an axe the moment you pick it up. But the time from picking it up and running towards the enemy is sufficiently long for it to charge. This making it an overpowered weapon.
For in game example, play Eggwars with voting option Normal Item, Half Health (Yes, the damage is not halved but it will give a perspective.)

Its a nice idea but I don`t think it will fit skywars. Imagine half hearts and overpowerd. If someone has a power 2 bow with some arrows he can kill 5 people straight away.
