Bedrock Find the item

Love the minigame, but since the update, more than half of the times I am automatically killed without getting a chance to play. Especially today, every game, myself and others fell off the map. Also I feel like there should be 1 or 2 more seconds to find the item, I can barely get through 2 chests and its like a guessing game. That's all, thank you!
