Looks really cool!

However, could you maybe add some more pictures? For instance from the chess pieces, they're not very well visible on the screenshots you provided.
Also maybe add some more colours to the landscape. The trees and grass are all green, maybe some more colours would make it even better!

Anyway, good map and interesting idea!

I think its cool and different. I think it needs more structures on the outside in the forest area. And i also think it shouldn't be a floating island. I would prefer a barrair of some sorts. And happy 1 year!

Nice map but it looks a bit weird how the chessboard is just laying down on the map. Maybe making it stand on a table or just make the whole chessboard connected to the ground would make it look better.

Unfortunately, collectively the design team have decided to deny this map submission due to the following reasons:
-Not enough gameplay diversity
-Detailing of chess pieces can be improved
-Not enough map height variation
