Maybe like you can buy emeralds for a stack of diamonds and the elytra costs like 3 emeralds or something I dunno it's just a suggestion :p

That is what i was thinking but instead of emeralds just use like two stacks of diamonds, not to overcomplicate but also it is a decent idea for elyctra cus if u wear it u dont get armour protection so u could be vulnerable

if you think about it op is already .... well op, shield for just 10 diamonds, you could dodge arrows with that and if ur shield breaks u can replace it easy. elyctra in this for 2s of diamonds would make the chose harder, full diamond or fly

Remember that because the elytra replaces the chestplate it is a disadvantage in a normal 1v1 situation
