Hello,

The game seems to be dying day by day, and many people no longer play normal EggWars. However, I noticed that in private games, a lot of players still join and play.

What if we added a new vote option to use the old shop in EggWars private games only?
I think this would be a good idea and could create a new style of gameplay.

It also shouldn’t be very difficult to implement—I’ve already done something similar myself.

For banned items, we could simply handle them with PG rules, just like we’ve always done.

Do you then mean the older items like elytra and such?

I don't mind adding a voting option like this but I think it would be better if an option for adding/removing certain items in the shop is added to the Game Configuration menu, and elytras are included as well. This way, players can create their own custom shop so they are not limited to the default shop in private games. In my opinion, elytra is too overpowered for this game and I'm glad it no longer exists. But I definitely support the idea of making the shop customizable in private games by having an option for adding/removing any item in the shop, even the removed ones such as elytra, netherite gear etc.

I think Private Games can be expanded even more, such as allowing the Private Games leader/owner to select certain settings to enable/disable or even modify some things.

Here are some things I think should be implemented:
• Private Games Host ability to make the shop free or change the price of items.
• Private Games Host ability to change the gen speed.
• Private Games Host ability to change the cooldown for leaps and fireballs.
• Private Games Host ability to unrestrict or restrict the number of items allowed to have in a in Private Game such as leaps and tnt.
• Private Games Host can add/remove any items from the shop before starting the game.
• Private Games Host can select to have items from a specific season.
• Any amount of players for all megas, squads, duos and solos maps.
• Private Games Host ability to modify the world so after such time the map starts to disintegrate and you're only left with the middle.

Agree, I also think deathmatch should be automated instead of the mods having to manually announce it. A deathmatch timer on scoreboard would be very nice, as well as turning off the generators since they are useless and just clock up your inventory. Either disable emerald spawning after deathmatch or keep perk shop which adds more interesting gameplay with things like no regen, and allows players to buy erosion if they couldn't get it before deathmatch (big disadvantage). In addition it would be nice to have a system to force fights (to prevent camping and cross teaming). For example, in a situation with 4 teams left, you could assign 2 teams to fight each other which ends when one of the teams dies. The other 2 teams will also have to fight each other. During this time the other teams can't interrupt to try to clean. When both fights end, the last 2 teams will obviously fight each other. I think this will make deathmatches more fun and exciting.

I agree with this. Or give the pg hosts the commands like /deathmatch and /kick, because I hosted 2 pg's yesterday and I wanted to implement deathmatch in it. Otherwise the games would be to long and people could be kicked because of packets. And fix the assign teams menu because in the beginning we were with a little amount people and when I wanted to assign people to the teams it would change the spots the assign heads are in and the assign/remove text was bugged. And give the host the option to change the gamemode in the pre-lobby because often times people accidentally vote half health instead of normal health.

I think that is actually an idea. A lot of players still enjoy the style of EggWars. They like the way it used to be. Adding the style of EggWars as an option in private games would be a good thing. It would not affect the mode of EggWars. Players would still have the choice to play the style of EggWars if they want to.

Private games are already customizable. So it makes sense to include something like a shop toggle, in private games. The old shop toggle would be an option to have. It could bring back some nostalgia for players who have been playing EggWars for a time. The old style of EggWars would be a way to enjoy the game. It would not change the system of EggWars for everyone.
