So, in many team eggwars maps, some teams have an advantage over others. This is just my opinion, feel free to comment if you think something is wrong! Area 51: Purple , Pink , Blue, and Black - These islands lack a straight line to mid, which seems bad but is actually a good thing. Why? The other teams all have a straight line to mid, so you can take out the egg of the other teams, kill them, and use their partially completed bridge. Aztec: - No Advantageous Team - Dwarven: Pink - This isn't just a slight advantage, pink has a HUGE advantage on this map. 1. It has a straight line to mid. 2. It has the shortest distance to mid. 3. The teams next to it have eggs facing pink. 4. The egg is in the far back of the island NOTE: All except "Shortest Distance" are shared with orange Fairground: Purple - This one is a really tricky one, but I'll explain why I chose this. There are 2 diamond generators at middle, one is on the ground on the side of Purple, Green, and Yellow. The other one is high on the side of Orange, Red, and Cyan. There isn't a very good spot to finish your bridge at the bottom of orange, so most teams will build a staircase directly to that generator. Purple will most likely get there faster, and can dominate middle. In addition, green and yellow aren't in an ideal position to rush purple's egg. Forest: Purple, Yellow, Orange, and Green - This is another map it's better to rush the team that have a straight line rather than building yourself. You also can easily go up, making there be an incredibly indirect way to your egg. Instruments: - Depends on your Play Style - Offensive: Green - Green is set back for defensive players, as you can only protect your egg with one layer of obsidian. However, you'll have a much easier time controlling center, as the generator on the top is practically yours. Defensive: Red and Yellow - You aren't limited to one layer of obsidian, and you still can get directly to the top, unlike blue. Kingdom: - No Advantageous Team - Magic: Green and Cyan - These teams have a direct path to the overpowered diamond generator, unlike red and yellow which have to go around. Medieval: Purple, Pink, Gray, and Black - This is another map where there is a shorter distance between player islands then the straight islands to mid. Oriental: Orange and Blue - This is not a good map to rush the "Straighties" so just take the team with the straight line. Pizza: Pink and Dark Green - These are the only islands that have a good route to the best diamond generator atop the table. Rome: - No Advantageous Team - Space: Red and Blue - The Earth isn't as high as the sun, so it's easier to drop onto the other team and get diamonds. Storm: Dark Green, Light Blue, Orange, Pink, Red, Dark Blue, Light Green, Gray - This is another map to rush the straighties, and use their island to build to mod, or just keep rushing. Teaparty: Orange, Pink, Green, and Cyan- Trying to do the Area 51 strategy will not work on this map, simply because of the overpowered generators at mid, and the fact Toys: Pink, Blue, Yellow, and Gray - These islands can only be sneak attacked from one side, in addition to this being another map to rush the straighties. Treehouse: Purple and Yellow- Both of the diamond generators are on the side of yellow and purple, there is one more hidden one closer to green, but generally purple will be a better team choice. Underdasea: Pink, Red, Cyan, and Purple - Another map to rush the straighties; most teams port on the jellyfish and from there can directly attack gray or yellow. Vegetables: Red and Pink - Pink's second iron generator is broken, however that is a glitch so I will not let that exclude it from the list. These two team are closest to the good diamond generator in middle.
