I've seen complaints about the huts map, but it's not like every player is going to like every map? A lot of people also do like the map so I don't see a reason to revamp/remove it.

I like these ideas. But some of them I'll have to disagree on them with you.

Add the knockback II back though. Why? Because i know i can fight them with w tap , and id like to eradicate teams in an unfair manner . I won a 5v1 with knockback shroom . Realised that spamming it isnt as effective somehow . Oh and once i lost the shroom when i placed it on sandstone :(

The sweeping edge sword also is restricted to Teams Mode in OP
But we have way where we can udate the server and still have 1.8 mode

I assume you mean that they add a seperate 1.11+ server to have the sweeping edge enchantment?
If so, no.
Having a seperate server for 1.11+ would mean that the player count would split even more between the 1.9 / 1.10 players and the 1.11 / 1.12 players. Since there's only so many blocks and an enchant that's been added, it wouldn't at all be a good investment.

The main thing that they're asking:
They want to have a form of proof to back up your statement, since it's a pretty big assumption to say that the community dislikes the maps, if it's only a few dozen players. All you need to do is provide enough proof to back it up.
