Deleting posts on your profile

Why can't users delete posts on their own profile page which was posted by them, I was ine my profile, i wanted to delete a fail post cause i clicked enter by accident, but i didn't have the option. But I had the option to delete posts from other users.

Okay you could, not saying you would.. just an example, post a status which could result in consequences, you then could delete it and say you never posted it, which would be a problem and a whole load of hassle :P

My advice is that you double check what you have typed before completing and posting your status. If it must be deleted, contact a member of staff and if it is deemed necessary by them, i don't see what's wrong with us doing it.
