Staff History is the largest thread on the forums.


The record for most staff changes in a single day was set on September 29th 2021 with 23 people having their ranks changed.

32 staff members of all staff members ever have joined the staff team on two separate occasions.
Additionally, 3 staff members have joined the team on three separate occasions.


91% of hired staff members make it to Moderator


The most players promoted to Helper in one day was 19, set on July 8th, 2020...
...with the pre-2020 most members promoted to Helper in one day being 8, set on January 4th of 2016.


The most promotions to a single staff member go to Camezonda, who has been promoted from:
Helper -> Moderator -> Senior Moderator -> Administrator -> Management


The most resignations in one month was in July 2022 when 16 staff members left...
...with the pre-2020 most resignations in a month being 9, set in March 2017.


The most player reports done by a single staff member is 24,232 by CapitanGato.

Similarly, the most reports handled by a single staff member in a day was 1,235 by iLoveYouu.


0.11% of players who register on the forums have received a staff rank.


Prior to 2020, 0.01% of Helper applications were successful. From 2020 and onwards, 1.3% of Helper applications are successful.


The staff member with the highest level was Kloska with 250.


April 2020 holds the record for most Designers ever at 23, possessing 65% of all Designers ever hired in the history of the server.

With only one designer, April 2024 holds the record for the lowest number of Designers ever since the Designer rank was introduced.

Similarly, in April 2024 there was only one Senior Designer, which is the lowest number since the introduction of the Senior Designer rank.

July 2019 was the first time in the history of the server that Designers have surpassed Moderators in staff.


The lowest number of posts held by a Helper at the time of their promotion was Wink with 33.


The most posts held by a single staff member was Moooofin with 17,861 up until his resignation.


63% of staff applications are Helper applications.


2020 had the most Helper promotions of all time with 53. 2019 had the lowest with only 5.

More staff changes occurred in the first 3 months of 2020 than all the staff changes for the entire year of 2019.

Additionally, more Helpers were hired in the first month of 2020 than in the entire year of 2019.


LaserDolphin77 was the youngest Admin ever promoted on CubeCraft at just 14 years old. Similarly, SevereWarning was the youngest Moderator ever promoted at just 12 years old.


11 staff members have completed the Helper training process twice.


zDutchie was the 100th staff member to join the staff team.

Livchi was the 200th staff member to join the staff team.

TrueMike was the 300th staff member to join the staff team.


On July 20th 2020 CubeCraft hit an all-time record of 100 concurrent staff members, this number continues to grow.


As of August 2020, the Design, Admin, Developer & Moderation team are all the biggest they have ever been since the beginning of the server.


Currently, 3.1% of staff members have multiple positions within the staff team, commonly combining Moderator with Senior Translator.

Dylaila was an active member for 2 years and 8 months before becoming Designer in April 2019.

_The13thDoctor_ was an active member for 4 years and 8 months before becoming Helper in April 2021.

xSchulzis was active for 2 months and 1 day on the forums before becoming Helper in April 2024, which is the shortest time in the history of Cubecraft (excluding when the forums were created).


The shortest-lived Helper was on the staff team for approximately 67 hours before stepping down again.

The longest time spent as a Helper before being promoted to Moderator was 6 months and 2 days.

Dai_Matsumoto was a voluntary staff member for 87% (approx. 6 years) of CubeCraft's entire history until he resigned in October 2018...
..with 2nd place going to Kloska with 50% (approx. 6 years) until his resignation in June 2024.


The shortest-lived Designer was on the staff team for approximately 19 hours before stepping down again.

Alex_de_Grote was a Designer for 4 years and 11 months...
...with second place going to Max111D with 4 years and 6 months.


The average all-time spent as a Moderator till resignation is 1 year and 5 months.


In 2019, the staff team went without any departures for an astonishing 7 consecutive months.

HectorLalo was the first-ever member to become Helper on CubeCraft.

Zed // GingerGeek was the very first member to receive the Developer rank.

Soulless_Unity was the first staff member to receive the Senior Designer rank.

c0rin was the very first member to receive the Translator rank.

CN1998 was the very first staff member to receive the Marketplace QA rank.


Volkom_ was the first staff member to be Moderator and Builder at the same time.

Fisktratt was the very first staff member to be Moderator and Translator at the same time.

Dylaila was the first staff member to be Helper and Designer at the same time.

Elivat was the first staff member to be Helper and Translator at the same time.

Priley was the first staff member to be Designer and Translator at the same time.


Jinjo90 is the first and, to date, only staff member to be promoted to Administrator three times.
StorySays and patito are the only staff members to be promoted to the rank twice.


Max111D is the only staff member to be promoted to Designer on three separate occasions. Once in 2015, once in 2018 and once in July 2021.

Dutchyyy is the only staff member to be promoted to Helper and later Moderator on three separate occasions.

Demography
Around 59% of the Cubecraft team identifies as male, whereas only around 37% identify as female.

All our team members combined are located across 4 continents and 14 different countries.
In September 2024, a whopping 24.4% of the Cubecraft Team were from the United Kingdom. Second place goes to the Netherlands with 17.1% of the team, and third place goes to Belgium with 12.2%.

The current youngest team member is 18 years old.

The current oldest team member is 31 years old.

Additionally, the gap between these two team members is 13 years.


A whopping 7 staff members are born in 2004...
...with second place going to 2003 with 5 births and 2001 in third place with 4 births.


The current average age of all staff members is 22 years and 8 months.

The current average age of the Admin Team members is 26 years and 8 months. (Missing data from 38% of the team)

Similarly, the average age of the Developers is 25 years and 9 months. (Missing data from 50% of the team)

The average age of the Moderators and Senior Moderators is 21 years and 2 months.
Additionally, the age gap between the oldest and youngest moderation team members is 9 years and 8 months.

The average age of the Designer, Senior Designers and QA members is 23 years and 1 month.

The average age of the Translators and Senior Translators was 17 years and 5 months before the team was discontinued.
