Can't connect to the server

A my friend can't connect to the server and also on this site. I don't think that he has been banned or kicked. This is the crash report.

He also tried to log in all the version, from 1.8 to 1.12.
How can he resolve that problem? Thank you

On windows:
Right mouse button on your wifi / ethernet symbol on your windows bar
Click "Open Network Center"
Click left "Change Adapter Settings"
Right mouse button on your Wi-Fi / Ethernet connection
Click "Properties"
Click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)"
Click Properties
Click "Use the following IP address:"
Enter 8.8.8.8 in Preferred DNS Server
Enter 8.8.4.4 with Alternate DNS Server
Click OK

1. Go to the  Apple menu and select “System Preferences”
2. Choose the “Network” control panel, select your network interface from the left side (“Wi-Fi” or “Ethernet” for example), then click the “Advanced” button in the lower right corner of the Network window
3. Choose the “DNS” tab at the top of the screen - To add a new DNS server: click on the [+] plus button - To edit an existing DNS server: click twice on the DNS IP address you wish to change - To remove a DNS server: select a DNS server IP address and then click either the [-] minus button or hit the delete key
4. When finished making changes to the DNS settings, click on the “OK” button
5. Now click on “Apply” for the DNS changes to take effect, close out of System Preferences as usual
