Plants don't have 'feelings' the same way we do though. For a start, it doesn't have eyes ect, and it's completely different to living things. For a start, it's not an animal. Animals have way more feelings than a plant would. If plants had feelings it wouldn't be like plant is happy, plant is sad, because they're not required for its survival. Plants reproduce through separation of cells to create to exact same cells, so it doesn't need to find sexual partners to reproduce with, therefore it has no need for the feeling of love ect, it won't be sad if it's 'child' was taken away. Also, it's cells are completely different. It's a different type of living thing completely. Even bacterias a living thing, but you wouldn't keep it alive because it was living, so it's the same with plants. Plants don't have feelings the same we do, and all animals do, it's completely different. All plants need to do is photosynthesise for food, and sublimate cells, it doesn't have a need or use for feelings, however we do, we use feelings more and so do animals. So killing animals is different to taking plants out of soil. Plants don't particually have feelings and if they do its not the same as human feelings.

*sigh* Giving up meat is vegetarian, giving up meat AND all products coming from animals for example eggs and milk, is vegan. There is a difference. It's the difference between being able to eat chocolate and not guys, big difference.
