I just had to say 20 players is a bit excessive. I see a lot of people like the idea of there being 20 players but a lot of people don't. I have seen some people saying they aren't going on cubecraft until it is fixed and honestly I don't blame them. I don't like the 20 players either but there is a compromise. I think it would be a good idea if they had 2 game modes. One with 8 people and another with 20 and before you click play for Pillars Of Fortune you can choose wether to play a game of 20 people or a game of 8 people. It's like how servers do games like bedwars, you can choose if you want to do 1v1v1v1, 2v2v2v2, 4v4v4v4 etc. Why can't we have it so we can choose to play a game of 8 people or a game of 20 people. I think this would be a great compromise and will make everybody happy.
Also I saw on another post here someone said about making the map bigger for the 20 people game. That is such a good idea as if someone gets two or 3 blocks and you only get armour or items or something they can jump on you and hit you off at the very start of the game. If the map was bigger and the pillars were further apart for this 20 people game it would be so much better.
Back to my main point. Please make it so you can choose a game of 8 or 20 people.
