Do You Think Names Matter on CubeCraft?

Hello I was wondering about something.

Does a players name really matter in CubeCraft?

Sometimes you see some names. Think that player is good or experienced.. You think you have seen them before. Some names just stand out. You remember them later.

There are players who're very skilled.. Not many people know who they are.

Names can give us an idea about a player. Even before we start playing.

So I was thinking

Does a players name actually matter?. Is it just, about how they play the game?

Both matter. If you see an absolutely cringe noob username that looks like a button mash, and yet is still winning consistently, you would probably just assume that its either a nicked, alt, hacker, or an 8-year-old sweat that doesn't leave the screen. If you see an epic username that's short and rare, yet is trash at the game, you would probably assume it was bought off a trading site by a kid using his mom's credit card. BUT, when you see an epic, short, memorable username, really good at winning and playing in general, THAT, is a player you remember and should avoid AT ALL COSTS because you would get DESTROYED.

My experiences show that a lot of 4 letter names are alts or sweats (not all! Just a lot), and have a higher chance of being cheaters than other types of people. There's barely any nons/noobs with a 4 letter name

At least on Java all 4 letter names were taken long time ago so they definitely aren't alt accounts since those names have been all taken for the past 10 or so years. That also makes it very unlikely that they are cheaters since usually cheaters use stolen accounts if their goal is just to fly around the skywars game until they get banned.

Not all you can still find some, just made a new one two weeks ago, it took like an hour of smashing 4 random keys together but I got one.

Names don't always necessarily tell you how good or experienced a player is, but it's often about how players want to represent themselves, or that's how I look at it, at least. Someone's name is part of your first impression of them. It can be their own name, a clan name, something that represents a hobby or interest, or just a name that they think looks cool, like the shorter and rarer names. Some players like to trick others with a silly name, and then they turn out to be pretty good

Some also stick with their first generated Xbox name (on Bedrock), some of those actually look pretty nice.
