Add this option: People can only vote on a poll if they’re part of a discussion.

Loads of people’s vote actaully are hard to take into consideration because they arent a part of the discussion.

Having an option for a poll also is kinda petition-ey. Making people validate their choice would contribute immensely to the quality of suggestion.

If you vote, you give your "opinion", if it is about a new game mode or Like/Dislike related things, but with balancing, new systems, THEY ARE NOT OPINIONATED, they are right, or wrong, and the only way we can figure out whether its a good or bad idea is looking at the REASONS, for the thought behind it.

but if you say no without a reason, your giving a conclusion without a reason, without reasons there is no conclusions

I know about the no
I perfectly agree with that
but here comes the problem of a no answer to the poll

For example in a lot of suggestion threads I make I have more then one simple suggestion in them
I have multiple
so my no option is either none of them or none of the above
This isn't a specific "no" responce
not to mention people who put their options as things like Nope, Nay, Disagree, "OMG YOU ARE DUMB WHY WOULD THIS BE ADDED", etc.

I was posting at that time too

However now-a-days
Suggestions have advanced there are a lot more suggestions in one suggestion thread

A poll is simply a way of knowing which users vote for everything. If I see a suggestion that seems good to me, and I want to vote "yes", but I do not have a good enough argumentation or I just can not explain why that suggestion seems good to me, you could not vote just because you did not comment.
At least for me, that's silly like a house.

You realise that the problem is that people vote, and not give a reason for their vote.
the Survey will cause you to know who voted no, but unless you FORCE them they won't reply
Honesty just do this the Tspacecat way and make the no button appear only after they post their reason

No you do, see unless its about how much fun something is. Everything is right or wrong, and what you see as an opinion is actually a prediction on if it is good or bad. And by looking at the reasons behind the predictions you can find out whether it is right or wrong.
