What happened with Speed in speed EW?

No, I really don't want the speed being add back to Speed Eggwars.

'The speed is removed, because the speed effect got extremely annoying, especially in 1.9. Everyone is strafing, making it almost impossible to get good hits on people. And If you want speed, you can use the egg legs kit', thus @Younisco.

With a speed boost PvP will be really hard and less fun and that was the main reason people hated speed eggwars so I'd say let's keep it this way.

Lot's of people disliked it + it wasn't really useful for any skills. Almost no other games make use of it.
If you want to, you can just pick the Egglegs kit to get a speed boost. I don't think it's as fast as the speed boost, but it's a good substitute.
