The worst thing about this server is it's dreadful 1.9 pvp. That's the reason why so many people are now migrating. If this server fails to even remove the 1.9 combat system from EVERY GAME ON CUBECRAFT, then I hope this server will rot and die.

The 1.9 update was the worst update ever. It's even 100 times worse than 1.3! Not only that, but countless youtubers who cared for the game (eg: Antvenom) had declared it: "A waste of political resources", "More like WW3", "A message that Mojang doesn't deserve to be here", "Simply the worst update ever", "Warning: Only play up to 1.8. Updates after that will suck because of the combat system." and "I would rather die countless times rather than having Mojang to release updates featuring ONLY the 1.9 combat system". AND THIS SERVER DECIDES TO KEEP MOVING WITH THE HORRID 1.9 COMBAT SYSTEM???!!!! THAT'S WHAT A DUMB SERVER WOULD DO.

Many poeple are playing on 1.8 games or fully 1.8 combat orientated games. The server is now at a decline that can only be stopped if the server fully changes it's 1.9 combat system to 1.8 IN ALL GAMES!!!!

And oh yes, CHANGE THE COMBAT SYSTEM IN BLOCKWARS (INCLUDING EVERY OTHER GAME ON CUBECRAFT) TO 1.8!!!!!!!!!!!

How ironic. This server is the 2nd most populated server in MC. Either you're so salty or you're trolling.

I don't think a YouTuber would criticize it too harshly like that. Do you have any actual evidence?

Stay with 1.8 and more bugs will come up. Stay with 1.8 and you'll miss out on all of the new features that come out with later versions of MC. 1.9+ has emulated 1.8 combat. Oh, and did I forget that this is the ONLY big server that has full 1.9 PvP? If that's the case, then this is the most populated 1.9+ server (not hypixel, since that's a 1.8 server). Drop 1.9 and Cube downgrades to a server below even Mineplex or Hive.

You are speaking for the whole community and all the Minecraft players. However, this is your opinion. There sure are people who agree with you, but you don't have the right to speak for everyone. I like 1.9 myself and dislike 1.8 PvP. Though, I don't make threads to remove 1.8 PvP because "IT SUCKS AND THEREFORE SHOULD BE REMOVED CUZ NOONE LIKES IT".

Yes, a lot of people are playing on the HiveMC, Mineplex and Hypixel. Yet Cubecraft has a bigger player base than The Hive and Mineplex [EU].

They are slowly but surely downgrading gamemodes to 1.8 PvP whilest keeping them in 1.9 PvP as well.

Also, I'd appreciate it if you could edit your thread and remove all the political talk and historical figures.

I don't think the Hive or Memeplex or Hypickle even will last this long since they have 1.8.
They're going to be extremely outdated by the time 2018 hits.

Your message has been edited as it contained inappropriate language. Please keep in mind that this is a child-friendly server.
Everybody has different preferences when it comes to the Minecraft PvP system. Personally, I think that 1.8 is boring and uninteresting. If you prefer 1.8 however, then you are free to play both Skywars and Eggwars by joining using a 1.8 client. For that reason, Cubecraft will never be a 1.8 server again, sorry.

Oh, and I don't think the server is planning on dying anytime soon, so sorry about that too. Perhaps you could give 1.9 another chance? It's really enjoyable once you get the hang of it. If you haven't done so already, you can enable an attack overlay in the options settings of your client that will tell you when you can attack next :)
