Temporary move to 1.9 and 1.10 ONLY

I recently discovered that most (or all) hackers are using 1.8 hacked clients (even 1 of them said in chat "i have 1.8 haxs")
so this is a temporary idea that i thought of
Making Cubecraft 1.9 and 1.10 compatible until the new anti cheat comes out
for those who want the 1.8 they can just re add the map selection for 1.8
this will stop most hackers that is until we get the anti cheat then we can revert it back to 1.8

This wont stop hackers. Hack clients nowadays can adapt to nearly any situation even if people are using a 1.10 client they can configure it to work like a 1.8 client. Some clients even have the ability to swap between versions ingame.

Sorry, Cubecraft can't just switch to 1.9/10 and then back to 1.8 because TONS of people asked for that and now just turn it back to 1.10 again. There are hackers everywhere and the staff is busy with making a better anti-cheat system (correct me if I'm wrong) just report the hackers ;) this won't happen.

Some 1.9 clients have an option to change the hit speed so they can hit fast to break armour or fight 1.8 and they can hit slow so they can fight in 1.9/10. I don't think getting rid of 1.8 for a time would effect much.

I think there are 1.9 clients. It won't stop hackers though from coming on and playing in 1.9. I'm pretty sure there are 1.9 clients and people will not hesitate to use them!

it gets annoying, i started slowing down my reports cause of school, and they can for a temporary amount of time

There doesn't have to be many clients. All it would need really is one client that everyone used.
You be surprise how many varieties of hacks there are in 1.9 clients aswell.

No please. They just released 1.8 and everybody is enjoying it! It would be mean to retire 1.8 mode already...

There were a LOT of hackers in 1.9 anyways, so it's nonsense. I'm enjoying 1.8 a lot and I would personally dislike it if they removed it. Also, I find as much hackers as in 1.9, or even less of them...
