A hacker, or a computer that can best the best pvper with strategies that a person would use and seems like a person is playing?(is adaptive)

AI-controlled enemies are always easier to beat since the human player can exploit their weaknesses. The OP stated that the AI is coded to be as good as a very skilled player, meaning it will have good hit accuracy but not 100% like kill aura.In a way kill aura is just the best someone can possibly get at mellee combat to the ai would pretty much have kill aura. Not only that it would know how to fake me out really well and dodge my arrows. I would take a stupid regular 'ole hacker on anyday before trying to beat the perfect pvper :p
Oh ok I misunderstood. Hmm now it's a hard choice... It's usually more fufilling to beat a hacker but fighting a skilled player keeps me in check... :PAI-controlled enemies are always easier to beat since the human player can exploit their weaknesses. The AI won't have any hacks, according to the OP. That means no aimbot, noslow, flight, etc.
Hackers:can be reported and banned. Computer program that can beat the best player and looks like person is playing:Can't be reported and could play for 15 hours take a 8 hour break then come back to wrecking people.AI-controlled enemies are always easier to beat since the human player can exploit their weaknesses. Against a hacker, every odd is against you unless the hacker screws up by jumping into your traps or otherwise. It's more satisfying to make a hacker take a loss since the hacker is supposed to have a 90%+ chance of winning.Oh ok I misunderstood. Hmm now it's a hard choice... Edit: "Can best the best pvper" ok I would still take my chances against a hacker
Okay let me add this on, this AI is adaptive.Against a hacker, every odd is against you unless the hacker screws up by jumping into your traps or otherwise. It's more satisfying to make a hacker take a loss since the hacker is supposed to have a 90%+ chance of winning.
@awesomebutter234: Yes, hackers can be reported and banned. The AI player is still easy to exploit. All it takes are practice and observation to know what the AI does and then act on it.
No AI will ever beat the best human player, period, just because of those loopholes in the AI. Throw something it can't counter = higher chance of winning.
That's possible according to Deep Thought's algorithm. If it's adaptive, how does it react to the player's actions in time before it takes major damage or a loss?Okay let me add this on, this AI is adaptive.
How about the AI is advanced enough to able able to adapt better than a human. That's possible according to Deep Thought's algorithm. If it's adaptive, how does it react to the player's actions in time before it takes major damage or a loss?
Let's say in SC2 a player rushes elite AI with cannons within the first couple minutes of the game. What does the AI do? There's limitations in the AI that prevent it from successfully countering the rush. A human player would know how to counter that by scouting ahead of time, giving the human player seconds or minutes ahead to prepare for it.
Even the best minds on the planet can still beat the AI. No program will have no bugs at all - there's always going to be at least one oversight or bug in the program. How about the AI is advanced enough to able able to adapt better than a human.
No bug or oversight we can figure out due to being too advanced.Even the best minds on the planet can still beat the AI. No program will have no bugs at all - there's always going to be at least one oversight or bug in the program.
Realistically, there's always some oversight/bugs in any program. No bug or oversight we can figure out due to being too advanced.
Thats not true.No AI will ever beat the best human player, period, just because of those loopholes in the AI. Throw something it can't counter = higher chance of winning.
Not all. Kasparov has beaten one chess computer before, namely Deep Blue. I've also stated in my first post that hackers are still the worst (though the worst-worst is not on this list).Thats not true.
All the chess Ai's have beat human players.
These were the best players in the world.
The entire idea of an AI is that it doesn't have loopholes.
You can't throw something it can't counter, because the point is that it can counter anything.
The way it works is not that it becomes the best PvPer, it just does everything you're not expecting.
Such as, it will do Clockwise strafes, and immediately switch to counterclockwise.
Its completely unbeatable.
So I would definitely take the hacker.
