I have read somewhere about a system that can be used to prevent hackers. It's really good because hackers wouldn't be able to use free alts or a VPN! They would get kicked instantly when logging in with a hacked client / blacklisted mod.
I am going to quote that down below, and I hope that this is actually possible to be coded, because CubeCraft would have no hackers! Literally. @GingerGeek @error_dan_overflow @504Errors @Foodyling @not2excel

Every time you log in, you log in with a certain code. If you are in 1.8.9, you have a different code to 1.8.8 or 1.8 or 1.7.10. This also happens if you join with Forge 1.8 or Optifine Ultra HD 1.8.4. And certain mods you have will change it as well. Now on a server I work for as a Sr Staff, the owner/dev used this to stop an enemy from having World Downloader and downloading his hub. It works. When you try to connect it automatically kicks you. Then we got Wurst hack client. Got its log in code and we actually made it impossible to use most recent version of Wurst on the server. We got every known public hacked client and blocked 'em. Hackers go from 2 every 3 days to 1 ever 10 weeks. Hacker free, great for KitPvP, Factions and Creative. Now this took lets see 10 mins max. Hacker free, 10 mins every week to update it cause of new hacked client updates.

This would probably get rid of the hackers, but I still want to use optifine and Shaders mod...

Please read the thread you obtained this from to the fullest extent. There exists no such protocol that is sent to the server that makes this reliably possible.

Ohh okay.. I didn't even know that was from Mineplex, but now I actually see that it's not possible. Sorry, I just wanted to help.. :(
