Bring the old map back?

Hello, I came to this forum to make a suggestion to bring back the old assassin map. In my opinion i think that the old assassin map attracted more players. I notice every time i get on assassins after the new map was added there was always less players. And in the old map, you could get around the map to a different location in less than a minute. Meanwhile in the New map, it takes almost 2 mins to get around the map to a far location. I just think that the old map attracted more players and was just the right size. Idea by wolfwhisperer. Thanks all!

I really liked the old map on Assassination. The new map is really nice and it can fit more players, but I know that a lot of people really enjoyed the map before, especially once they got to know where all the good chests were. Hackers were easier to find with the smaller map, too. Possibly we could keep both maps, or maybe even just increase the size of the old map? Anyway, I like the idea. :D

I really liked this map, like wolf said, it was easier to catch hackers and was just a bit easier to master where the chest were. Maybe keep both maps?

The old map was nice indeed, and you don't have players running out of the map, etc. Plus the newer one has campers, so not a lot people would like to try to climb the tower. Like Kitpvp, we can have both maps together. If we add them both, then you'd have to add more experience to the game mode. @OrangeGrapeEater ?

The only problem I see with 2 maps, is that the player count may not be as high, because they will be split between the 2. And when there are less people, people tend to get board, and leave. (Chain reaction continues)

I'd prefer to have just the old map, except that I know it may not be big enough. It would be easy to add to it though, with the same theme.

I don't dislike the new map, in fact i think it looks incredible but the old map was so much cleaner. The new map is way too complex and it feels like a maze whenever i step down an alleyway, and some of the spawns put you right into a hot zone where you have 0 chance of survival. I'm not saying the new map should be removed either, but if both maps were there for players to choose with a 120 player cap on each, both games would probably be full at the servers peak.

I think they made it bigger because more and more players started to join CCG. If a lot of them would be addicted to Assassins the old map would be way to small.
I personally never play Assassins but I can tell that it is really big and I can understand that you can get lost easily.

But I am pretty sure that that was the builders intention. That you can not remember your ways to make the gameplay harder.

I know what you mean here, and there's a good chance that's what they were intending. That's why I suggested making the old map bigger and adding buildings that are really similar to the current ones there. The new map seems to have less places to camp (or maybe they're just really hard to find) and that leads to everyone trying to go to the huge pyramid in the middle which is normally packed with full-diamond people. Like snap said, the old one was a lot easier to navigate through and it was just more simple, which a lot of people like. There are pros and cons to adding it, and personally I think that we'd have a few more people start to play it again (particularly the ones who may have stopped once the map changed) if the map was at least more similar to the old one.

The old map was a lot better, I don't even play on assassination anymore due to the new map, wish it back like it used to be. :(
