This is quite simple, just say how you found out Minecraft.

Me:
I found Minecraft when I was about 10-11 years old and I watched this Youtuber called Cmneir and he was playing with his friends. Originally I found the free version where you can just build with blocks and that's it but I saw that they had health and I was just amazed. So I asked my brother to get me this game and he didn't know how to get it (neither did I). So he looked on illegal torrent websites, I know illegal websites but most of us used them for things. He found one and I got to play it for the first time. Even though I knew nothing about Minecraft then I still found it very enjoyable.

I'm quite interested how other people found Minecraft, please share. :)

My story is very original... *not*
I was watching some football compilations on YouTube when a Minecraft video from paulsoaresjr was suggested.
As an 11 year old curious little boy, I clicked on it. After watching that video, me and my granddad (yes, my 70 year old granddad) tried to find a torrent of Minecraft and after a while we found a version in which you could play a single player world for 60 minutes and then you had to start over.
After doing that about 3 times I decided to just buy it...

I used to watch a Call of Duty youtuber called Bobloblaw1978, and then he started uploading minecraft. I was like "lol, noob game" and continued watching his CoD uploads. Suddenly, all he was uploading was minecraft so i decided to watch a few videos. A few videos turned into every video and i fell in love <3

I Found out about Minecraft about 4 years ago.
I watched the yogscast playing Minecraft, I loved them so much and I still do, sort of.
I originally got the game illegally too, but after I seen all the stuff I could do if I bought the game, I decided to buy it and it was great, hundreds of servers and hundreds of fun. The first game I ever bought digitally ever.

Bunch of YouTubers, basically. I debated whether or not to get it because a lot of people said it was stupid and only for little kids (I actually googled it and people said it was really nerdy and such so I didn't really want to get it.) I got the pocket edition before getting the real version. To this day I still feel awkward playing it sometimes, and (kind of a confession): because I've inherited a few traits of Asperger's Syndrome (I do not have the whole thing, my brother does though), I don't ever refer to myself as "playing" it. In fact, saying the word "playing" in any situation makes me very uncomfortable (probably weird, I know.) I also don't say "Minecraft," if I ever have to refer to it, I say "MC." Anyways, yeah, fun facts about me.

I debated writing this lol. Don't laugh at me pls.

McDonalds :D
Youtubers.

I started playing the demo. I was like a noob then, I had no clue how to get blocks on minecraft. After exploring and stuff, eventually I got pocket edition (and still have, I play it sometimes), after one month or so playing it, I fell in love and bought the game as a present for my birthday. I've played minecraft for about 2 years now, and still like it.

And that's my story..

I remember watching a video about how my favorite YouTubers were switching to Minecraft, which made me hate the game at first. But since the majority of my friends liked MC and talked about it non-stop, *cough cough* @HectorLalo *cough cough*, I decided to look deeper into the game. Eventually, I downloaded the demo for the Xbox version and realized it was fun trying to survive, even though I couldn't do much. It was so fun, I got much more involved than my friends did. At first I bought the game for Xbox, and then I bought the game for PC, since it seemed way better. Now Minecraft is my favorite game lol.
