Usually a person who sees life that way doesn't view the positive things about life and how much life really means. She will only see the negative things. I would recommend taking her out of school and have her transfered into another school. If that's not possible, just let her take a break from school for a while and let her be happy. Don't stress her out and be kind to her. The most important thing someone needs when in depression is love from family and others. If she keeps saying that she hates life, there are many special groups that help people get through bullying and depression disorders/problems. Make her see it as something positive, so she will give in. If she has to return to the school she is currently in, have your parents talk to the principal about it. Straighten things out. In some states (I dunno what state u liv in) bullying is illegal, believe it or not. So the bullies can get a penalty or a fine or whatever for bullying your sister, depending on how severe it is. Just speak to a lawyer about that if you consider the option. But first is first, let her take a break from school and be supper extra supportive. Then try to see what else you can do from the options that I mentioned early.

Tell your sister the following.

Stand up for herself and don't care what others think of her. Think of it this way, you are only going to know these kids in middle/high school and so they will only be in your life for a few years. Their actions shouldn't affect your life in any way shape or form. Just worry about yourself and make sure you do the best you can possibly do in school.

The best thing to tell her is this (my mum tells me this):

People who are bullying have a mental problem, who seek to reproduce happiness by gathering a reaction out of vulnerable well-beings. They don't know others positions and yet, they still do it. They are mainly all douchebags who cannot contemplate and empathise with others. I've started to take Tai Chi classes, so if someone throws a punch at me after I retaliate, I can break hell on them. Until you severely injure that person, the "news" would spread like wildfire and no-one would even flick you.

I received a lot of support on my thread about bullying, essentially for the same scenario. Perhaps viewing that can spark some ideas to tell your sister. Tell her that she can always joy CCG ;)

She is coming to the school that I currently go to even though she will be 2 grades younger and I will be in a part of the school that never sees the younger kids.
