I assume that the bug is quite a low priority since you’re still able to manually craft. It’s only annoying that you can’t craft as fast as usual, so knowing the bug team and development team, this is likely an issue that doesn’t need to be resolved asap

This option was very necessary when creating tools and I feel very sad about this

It's even worse with a controller, we have to place manually the items in the crafting table (omega annoying).

Hey, thanks for opening a thread on this, but this is not an intentional change and is a bug that has surfaced on 1.19. We've been working on a solution for this, but unfortunately it's not an easy fix. We plan to have a fix out soon though, so keep a lookout in the #changelog channel on Discord!
