Critical hits (Java)

So, I have had this doubt for a long time. Since I started playing Cubecraft again after the 1.8 shutdown I have always wondered if pressing W while performing critical hits does affect the damage or not. I ask here because I have asked many people in-game and some people say that indeed it reduces the damage, and other people say it doesn't.

it doesnt, it only reduces kb cuz ur trying to walk forward

Sprintreset is currently glitched on CubeCraft which makes you giving sprint hits forever without w tapping.
That also affects your crits. Damage of crits is your attack damage multiplied with 1,5 (150%).
