Bedrock Why I've been avoiding EggWars

Hello!

I don't really know where to put something like this, so I decided to put it on the forums.

So, many people have been asking me why I haven't been playing EggWars on my channel/why I'm dropping so fast on the leaderboards. It's not because I'm bored with it, in fact, I have such an itch to play it. I'm missing it a lot. :(

If I miss playing it then why am I not... playing it? Well... I'm basically just tired of the recognition/targeting. I've been complaining about this since July 2020. Every. Single. Game.

Today I played my first game in 1 week (because I couldn't help myself) and got in a game with 2 well-known players. They ended up farming full iron armor and began bow spamming me. Also thank you for spamming L in chat when you won, that was very kind of you!

I blame the targeting not only on just my YouTube channel but on how tight-knit the Bedrock community is. It's funny because I actually recognize 90% of the people that recognize me.

One day I applied to be a content creator, and to my surprise and gratefulness, I got accepted! Technically, one of the perks that come with this is /nick. I was pretty excited to try it out so all this targeting could stop. So I typed /nick in chat aaaaaaand it's not on Bedrock Edition yet xD

So this means not only am I already easily recognized throughout this tight-knit community because it's relatively small, I have a big juicy red and white [YouTuber] rank next to my name which doesn't help my case in the slightest LOL

So to quickly wrap things up, I'm not playing EggWars until /nick is added to Bedrock Edition. It was confirmed that it is being programmed, so until then I'm going to sit tight and wait.

I seriously hope this /nick exists and will be given to any youtuber/streamer/leaderboard-player. This is one of the reasons why I choose not to be on leaderboard. /nick works on Bedrock, and I can understand that CC would have to recode a lot of their already made codings, but I hope CC works on this.

lol? uhm if they get stacked get stacked too and have a fun game? I have this every day in java and yes they are toxic too. I like those games because you really have to play serious and get stacked alot. And yes some even stalk :)

Understandable. I get frustrated by it as well every now and then. Usually I don't pay attention to the tab list and am caught off guard by someone who is just hiding somewhere with a bow or full gear and notch apples for the entire game just to take me out. Just that.. complete focus on me. It's both funny and sad.

Though in consecutive games it's less of an issue, because I'll look if they joined or not. But at some points it has been so bad that I thought about looking into creating a plugin that would ping me whenever certain players would join lol. It's not even that they kill me, more often than not they still end up losing (good players don't really have to focus; they just play the game as usual no matter who is in it from my experience), it's just so damn annoying to be hunted by some hungry dog every single time I see them.

Tried to ignore them for a long time, but recently I've started to return the favor whenever I do notice they joined the game.

I would hate people like that. one time I saw you in a game and I was so amazed I said omg but I owuld never target you or stack and bow spam just to win against you I would play fifarly . I know that many leaderboard and well known players will be very rude, for example I saw sadstreetken in a game a few weeks ago he's the number 1 egg wars duos player, and he took off his armor I took off mine we were going to duel and guess what he did? took out his sword before I was ready and killed me instantly. it was supposed to be a fist duel, at least I assumed and he never said go as soon as I took of my armor he just killed me. a lot of other leader boarders are also toxic, target, "kick the non" kind of people. I find that none are often much nicer in fact. I agree that /nick should be in bedrock edition. targeting should also be bannable.

Yeah I totally agree. And if there are players that are even a little worse, they will leave their partyies, like when I play eggwars duos with people in the eggwars lobby like half the time people will leave after like 2 games because we did not win and sometimes they just like fall into the void and kill themselves and when that happens a few times they rage quit. And I’m not even that bad I am better then 98 percent of mobile players and I can beat pc and controller players a lot of the times
