Skyblock Bedrock Boosts Question

I have a very fast question about how the boosts in Skyblock on Bedrock works. To get these boosts do you have to do a quest or something? Me and my friends could not figure it out. Any help with this would be appreciated!

I can buy from an island Daylight Sensor but not from hub so try that

unlock the extreme hills island (8) and you'll get the quest
