Java Weekly item voting in skywars

I have a suggestion,

With this concept you can vote weekly for a certain item that appears in chest,
and you can vote for different items for the different chest votes.
For example:

Normal special item:
Slime-blocks.

Basic special item:
a knock-back 1 stone sword.

Overpowered special item:
a mob spawn egg.

I feel that people without ranks can decide a bit more about the gameplay.
You could also tweak the idea by making the special items unlock-able at the kits-perks shop or cubelets.

Voting basically is the key point of a rank. Giving voting powers to normal players doesn't sound very good to me...

Its not really a power, its more that you decide with the community which special item should be added

so you don't have the power yourself

I don’t think that this will be a good idea otherwise ranks will be useless

I think people are missing the point of this, everyone is able to vote for the community game, so why not a community item? I think it would spice up gameplay a little bit which is needed. It’s a +1 from me.

What if instead of a certain item, we vote for a free kit that appears every Friday.

You could also tweak the idea by making the special items unlock-able at the kits-perks shop or cubelets.

I don't think it's allowed by Mojang that in-game advantages have to be unlocked by cubelets. I think only vanity items are allowed from cubelets.

For the rest of the suggestion, I don't feel like there's a need for special items in Skywars. Lucky islands is the place for the special stuff, Skywars is more for general gear and items to PvP.
