@Andyyy one time tell me that there was no reason to add a poll to his thread
Polls are very useful because people sometimes just won’t show support for an idea if they have to either comment or like the post. Voting on a poll on the other side, is very simple and it’s a great way to demonstrate support from the community for the suggestion.

This is how I think it happens (the values are completely speculated)

You know, voting is really usefull. All people who just comment: +1, I agree, Yes pls, I'd like to see this implemented! can just vote "yes" instead of commenting those useless comments. It's also a great way to show support when not knowing what to comment.

Polls are not only being used for showing support to suggestions, but also for map submissions, voting for featured games, and some people (like me) sometimes use them in a creative way when hosting forum games. So... the answer to this question would be no.
