Inactive staff?

Curently 26 people have perms on this server which means that they can punish cheaters.Bur for real under 10 are really active.When was the last time you saw zRinne?,LibraryAddict?,Xiika??,Younisco??
Cynamoo isn’t much active ingame but he does some work too,but my question is-Why this people still have their ranks,they aren’t doing anything right now.I know they have real life work but they aren’t active in any place connected with CCGN network.I think more Helper applications have to be accepted because Sentinel isn’t smart enough to handle bhopers on 1.9 or something like that.We need more/active staff!

I have one thing to say about this. These people have a life besides Minecraft. They have work, school, kids (ok maybe not kids but you get my point). These things take time. Ok I'm not a staff but in October I'm going to be more inactive than active because of my study. So you better respect them what they do because they still can do work behind the scenes you know. The point where we don't know what they are doing.

He is a developer that are working with *drum rolls* developing. That is the reason you don't see him in game punishing players as his work isn't to punish players, but to develop.

They are all working as good as they can with their time "behind the scenes" which you may not notice.

Keep in mind that Moderation is more than banning cheaters and taking care of reports. We moderate the forums, answering questions on all the diffrent platforms, helps testing out Sentinel detections, writing and translating threads and appeals, some are reading through helper applications, discussing rules, reporting bugs etc. This is why you may not notice some moderators working since a quite big part of it is not visable for the community.

And also, we do have lives to take care of outside of this community. So yes, basically what Megaaa mentioned

Thanks for defending zRinnie she is so kind and helpful and never gets enough credit!

But yeah I see these members quite often and I know most of the staff on here and I can sure say they do their jobs and they do them well!

As much as I agree with the whole premise of this thread, which is to basically get more active staff on the team, I can assure you they're doing their absolute best to go through the applications.

They can't just accept a helper application. No. Just..no. It doesn't work that way. They want good people on the team and just accepting people won't help. They need people who meet the requirements. People who have experience..

When I was a staff member for almost a year I’ve literally never heard anything about her working behind the scenes. She almost never replied on the staff chat (might’ve been 3 to 4 times she actually participated). Did that change the past year?

As I've said multiple times, people are in the staff team for a reason. They do a lot more than punishing hackers.

Why do we even care who is still active as a staff member or not? I know it used to be the same in the past, so it won't change in the future.
I mean, there are some staff mems who talk to you everyday over and over and then u have some that just ignore you.
The ones that ignores you are the ones that just play with their own 'group', they don't interact with players. That's why you don't see them.

+ the requirements say that staff should be active and she wasn't active before she got staff and now she doesn't even look at the forums anymore. (At least that's what it looks like)

It's a voluntary job. She doesn't have to check reports.

There's other jobs for a staff member than to check reports.

The fact that she plays is not a bad thing. It would be worse if she didn't play at all. But she could improve her forums and discord activity.

i agree, look, CapitanGato do the "moderador job" correctly,he check reports, answer messages,look forums, look reports page etc, i love him and sometimes i see him in a game BUT Xiika 100% of times is playing team skywars and you can go 1.8 and do /report, She never check it (when she's online)

Actually i used /report a week ago and she banned the hacker
