Hello everyone!

The new eggwars update is amazing, but I am suggesting to add a green background for maps that are have games available, and a red background for maps that have no games available.

No, it would be too much of a mess.
How?
Hovering over the maps in the selection shows you the number of maps available. If it's zero, there are no maps available.

The backgrounds are totally unnecessary.
I understand what you mean, but if there are 20 maps and only 9 are available, it will be easier to see that immediately rather than having to hover around them.

But... the map selector exists for you to pick a specific map... hovering over it shows you if said map is available or not, and it works perfectly fine. Sure, it's not as "easy", but it could literally make a difference of 4 seconds at most. Besides, the current GUI looks approachable, and glass panes would make it look like one mess of a system as mentioned earlier. If it works just fine now, there's no need to change it.

This explains a lot, and although I don't agree with you, I'd also like to point out that this would be weird as well, and as Shrek said, a mess. The main reason is that you compare the settings menu with the map selector. The red and green is underneath it, which means no mess and a clear view of what's turned on and off. What you just said may even not be possible. I you really mean background, that means there needs to be a glass pane behind the map item, and I believe that not even possible. Even if you'd make the system the same as how settings work, I'd still really be against it, because a lobby selector should be something short and compact. There's no need to scroll 3 pages in order to find the last map you're looking for.

Nothing makes me feel as nostalgic as CubeCraft
NEWS: Summer event got released today (amazing shadow drop btw, since it didn't get in testing). There's also brand new maps which was not mentioned at all in the Notion post, which was a nice surprise. However, 5 weeks of summer is starting later (July 17 to most likely August 14).
Thanks @LemonyBreak459! for covering it since I woke up to the event releasing
