Bedrock wood swords

I have been noticing that wooden swords feel drastically weaker from before. It is taking me and my friends a longer time to kill armored players. I remember when if a player did not have any Protection 4 Leather Armour on, they would be exactly 5 hits to eliminate. However now it is taking 6-7 hits. What's more annoying is when I am outhitting a player in combat with a wooden sword. They still manage to kill me because of a stone sword, and half my health is gone in a few hits. I am not too upset about this but I am wondering if wooden swords have gotten nerfed. And if so why?

randomized damage is back, it feels like they added random crit chances without jumping too

Hi there
I feel the same way. The first games back felt like they drastically nerfed the wooden sword, especially in OP mode. I have also seen a lot more players being able to crit me without them jumping. I think you can crit now without jumping yourself but by just getting hit in the air by the opponent.

@Darkninja27 same with pickaxes, i feel the damage "nerf" + crit chance without jumping
