Bedrock Why need axes and shields in bedrock

When l was playing eggwars java for my first time l realized that their axes and shields in this version but not in bedrock WHAT.

1. You dont need axes in Bedrock Eggwars because there is nothing you could use it for.
2. Adding shields will make PvP even more scuffed.

Shields on Bedrock arent a good idea, because I think it makes it easier to camp with a shield and nobody can hit you
