I tried joining every Minecraft version to join the server. I have the Bedrock Launcher application to play older versions of Minecraft. I played on 1.18.12 and CubeCraft does not support it anymore. I also tried version 1.20.0, the minimum supported version to join Minecraft servers. CubeCraft no longer supports 1.20.0. Minecraft have stopped supporting versions below 1.20.0 to join every server. I play on the minimum supported version to play CubeCraft which gives me the better experience. Also note mentioning that I tried 1.21.60, 1.21.70, 1.21.80 in 2026, still cannot join CubeCraft. Maybe the server is receiving modern updates. I’m now on 1.21.90, but my Minecraft version is going to soon be unsupported. I have to join on 1.21.110 or higher to continue playing the server. Can you please add support to older versions? I agree to return back the older versions for a better experience.

CubeCraft removed support of 1.18.12 since 2023, 1.20.0 since 2024, 1.21.0-1.21.50 since 2025, and 1.21.80-1.21.114 since 2026. I would suggest keeping the older versions, allowing it for a better experience since newer versions kept getting worse.

I found this post searching ctrf+f version seeing any changelog on the version support drop. Today i join cc and i cannot join. There was no warning or anything about it. There is this terrible bug on later versions that makes panning around nauseating. It still hasnt been fixed.. MCPE-230090

The percentage of players who still use older versions of Minecraft that we have dropped is always very low. We do this to ensure we can offer Minecraft's latest features as soon as possible, and so we do not have to disproportionately dedicate development resources to the maintenance of game versions with a very small section of the playerbase.

What’s stopping you from updating to the latest version? CubeCraft drops older versions to allow for new content to be added to the server
I noticed how CubeCraft drops support for older versions of Minecraft. I got this message when I join in 1.21.80.

Hey there!
Your Minecraft version is too old to join CubeCraft!
Learn how to update here > cbecraft.net/update

I went this website - https://help.cubecraft.net/en/article/how-do-i-update-my-minecraft-1rh5e2g/

I was on an unstable version causing lag and performance issues. This message appears when you join the CubeCraft server below 1.21.124. Will CubeCraft update to native 1.21.11? Will CubeCraft enable vibrant visuals? I couldn’t even play CubeCraft with vibrant visuals since it was currently disabled. This might be a problem. It’s setting my graphics mode to fancy. I’ve been attempting to do this on latest version. Vibrant visuals is still not enabled yet. They will unless the server updates supported versions to 1.21.110 and above.

Spears aren’t available for crafting yet. It’s not showing up in the crafting interface. Unfortunately, I failed to craft copper gear in 1.21.90 since it requires version 1.21.110 to do so. Also note that copper gear are iron gear in 1.21.90, the durability for copper gear is less than iron. I’d probably going to estimate that copper items break at 25% of iron durability if you’re using copper. This can occur versions 1.21.90 only.

To answer your questions:
1 - Yes, CubeCraft will eventually add Mounts of Mayhem content soon. We don’t know when though, especially now with how frequent Minecraft releases content updates. We literally received a version support that added about three game drops together right before Mounts of Mayhem released.
2 - I’ve asked that question after 1.21.90 released and I believe they planned for Vibrant Visuals to be added soon alongside proper sharpness particles if it doesn’t break the server texture pack. I have no idea what’s going on with the vibrant visuals part though.

I agree that CubeCraft should drop older versions, that way they don't have to deal with compatibility issues and have more time to focus on updating and bringing new features. And the majority of people using those older versions are the ones that play on a bedrock client which update to newer versions slowly.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.

However, CubeCraft has made this decision to ensue that majority of the players receives the latest features of MineCraft despite the version stable or not, Additionally Mojang knows that this version is a bit unstable and they are working very hard to fix it as soon as they can.

Finally, CubeCraft has been Announcing about the versions drops since 2-3 month ( Correct me if I am wrong ) so now its the time to applied forcibly on the players. This decision allows Devs develop a better server, better features and more.

With full respect for your opinion, I am all ears to hear your feedback.

its pretty normal nowadays for older versions to be removed so that the server can update to the newer versions and is being able to bring new content and items to the server to be used, if a game like minecraft keeps updating and you want to use the newest features, you want to update! like as an example: you can have more block options to use for new builds/maps! you can use new items for maybe like new games! its just that it is necessary to update the game and servers and let older versions go, they are also doing this for java so its not just bedrock :)

And now that the server has updated the supported versions. The minimum supported version is now 1.21.120. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a 1.21.120 or a 1.21.130 version in Bedrock Launcher application. The latest release is 1.21.114. Did the Bedrock Launcher come to an end?

I tried playing 1.21.130 but my game needs an update for the application to run. It just simply can’t run without updating. Now I tried joining on 1.21.114 and now it’s no longer supported.

Everyone is now on the latest Minecraft version. I went back to version 26.1 to begin joining the server. I believe that 1.21.120 is still supported. I am not sure if this version supports.

It says that we recommend you always play on the latest version of the game. We will soon only support 1.21.130 and upwards on the Bedrock version of Minecraft.

We all know that Bedrock Edition is now running in the latest GDK as of 1.21.120. The GDK update on Windows has gotten worse. It now requires updates for the application to run. It doesn’t run unless you update your game. Could you like fix this issue so that it doesn’t require an update? Which means that we can play older Minecraft versions without having the requirement of updating.

If you need a launcher with versions after 1.21.120, Flarial launcher has it. I recommend 1.21.134 as it's more stable tham 26.0, but make sure to pause updates on the Windows Store since it'll update you to the latest version later

I am trying to but it still needs an update on the GDK. I already installed Flarial and tried installing 1.21.120-1.21.130 but Microsoft is still requiring for an update to run the application. I don’t think this is possible to launch older GDK versions offline. Does the game require online? Let’s find out. I’ve never tested offline launching. Microsoft is attempting to authenticate. It says signing in. I’m not sure if authentication requires online. It can either be offline or online. It just depends on how fast or slow your connection speed is.

No way! I managed to run Minecraft Bedrock versions 1.21.120 and 1.21.130. The game can run offline but you still not able to join servers. The reason that you aren’t able to join servers is that it takes hours for the servers to successfully load.

I had an extremely fast internet connection. Nothing was interrupted. My internet connection is not that slow but the game is. I don’t know why is this happening.

It’s usually because that there was an offline launching detection meaning that servers are going to take for a very long time for it to load. The servers only run on the latest GDK Bedrock version of Minecraft online.

Going offline bypasses checking for updates on the GDK platform, allowing users to play older GDK versions such as 1.21.120 and 1.21.130. I found out that you can be signed in offline. I didn’t know that for some reason.
