Why did Cubecraft turn into a full 1.9 server

I'm curious, why did Cubecraft turn into a full 1.9 and 1.10 server? I mean I'm not mad. It's the only server around that has 1.9 kit pvp and the server has move than 100 people on

We are fully 1.9+ compatible to embrace all the features it adds, there are several reasons for this. The main reason is that eventually all servers will need to update. We'd rather already be familiar and updated with these new versions, rather than rushing to update everything when a really good update comes out.
