Since this is sadly against the EULA so I don't understand what the whole argument is
if it doesn't comply with the EULA it can't be added

At the moment they are. But I'd prefer if they didn't make it possible to buy cubelets and instead added the something actually useful to get from them.

Exchanging vanity points for normal points would be against the Eula.
Vanity points would go for cosmetic items so perhaps a new suggestion for that would be better.

Buying cubelets isn't against the EULA because Cubelets only give the player vanity/cosmetics. Not points nor kits. They won't give players any advantage in-game. So they are allowed. So vanity points > Cubelets would be allowed. To kits and abilities > No chance.

But I still think that you should earn Cubelets. Even though the current Cubelet system is completely broken, they still should be earned.
