I'm not quite sure if I have previously made a suggestion about this, or if someone else has. But let's face it. We've all been there. We comment on a status post, and your notifications get flooded with a bunch of spam of other people commenting on the same posts.
Which is why I suggest a ''Unwatch status post'' option, just like there is for threads.
It's annoying to see your notification spammed with messages you don't care about.

Also the other way around, that you can watch a status post without having to comment on it.

Wouldn't make too much sense considering Elena was the original poster

I wanted to suggest this for quite some time. Then San made a comment about wanting to get rid of the notifications so I made a thread straight away, before I forgot again.
So it's sort of coming from that post.
But it's also coming from a lot of status posts I commented on and almost immidietly regret because my notifications got flooded.

Is this something that is already supported by Xenforo? And do other Xenforo websites have this feature?

If Xenforo does not have this feature, we cannot add it sadly.

If it's possible, will this suggestion be taken into consideration?

If it's a matter of just enabling something, I guess I could get John to look into adding it, but first I'd need to know if this is even something Xenforo offers :)

Xenforo doesn't offer such a feature inbuilt.

The developers could however make it as an addon for Xenforo. I don't think there is currently an existing addon for this feature though (I may be wrong).
