Poll The Double Click & Drag Click Ban: Why the Community Is Confused

Since the ban on double clicking and drag clicking, there has been a great deal of controversy in the CubeCraft server, particularly in EggWars. Many people are confused, and I think this is because CubeCraft says that you should not change your debounce value. An example of this is, my mouse has a debounce value of 10 ms, but people complain about this being too low.

In my opinion, CubeCraft should simply put a CPS limiter directly on the server, as most other servers do, and allow everyone to drag click and double click. This would make things a great deal simpler, as it is currently that players are extremely confused about what debounce value they are allowed to use. Before this ban, there was no such confusion, and many people do not agree with the current rules.

Like me i have mouse bloody a60 but i confused about this ban for that and i don't use any auto clicker just butter fly click but his normal speed and i didn't touch it my cps is 16 but all some people when i fight them the say auto and i dont love that i hope that fix that problem and up the scurete in this server and thank for reading

It's not genuine drag clickers or players who accidentally double click that is the problem. It's ppl who cheat, get banned, come back on an alt time and time again and do the same. And a cps limit of x, wouldnt stop auto clickers. The server is clear, buy a mouse that you can change your dB setting to prevent double clicking and don't drag. Whether that precludes existing or new players from playing, that's down to the server staff, not the players.

I disagree. Allowing double clicking and drag clicking, even with a CPS limiter, still gives an unfair advantage to players with specific mice. The current rules help keep the game more skill-based and fair for everyone.

This should be true yes but people still DC so it’s a bit stupid to ban drag and dc when some mice are literally built to DC and why would I buy a new one just to play CubeCraft

I don't think you need to buy a new one, just configure your settings to where it's in compliance with the rules

They should remove the double clicking ban, i cant even use controllers or some mouses on cubecraft. Lots of office mouse double click and there is no way to stop it without software which most players will not download software to play on a minecraft server.

its ovi should be in place if it did not give an advantage over people then it would not be a rule

There is already a CPS limit of 15; anything over it and you will be kicked/banned.

You can find our list of rules regarding clicking methods and modifications here. To state it as it might not be clear, but we do not allow auto clicking even under 15 cps.

if drag click and double click are unfair and considered cheating for those players who can't drag or double click, I think all pc players, controller players and OTG players are also having unfair advantages over screentouch players. All those players should get banned
