This should be moved and closed. Because, like Morgan said, acronyms is allowed ;)

Why are acronyms allowed? It's a reference to a curse word. Logically speaking, I should be able to say (example) "fuk you" because it is a reference to the word.

No, if youre typing´´fuk you´´ youre avoiding the anti-swear rule, which is forbidden :)

Yes it is, when you type out the acronym, "shut the fu** up" it will say tell youthat swearing isn't allowed on this server. So, by saying "stfu" you are avoiding the filter. It's a contradiction with itself.

I don't know why, either. I'm going to talk to staff about this. They should add acronyms to the filter, or allow non-excessive cursing on the server.

You should know that saying wtf and all that stuff means nothing in this generation. Even 3 year old's are being taught how to swear.

It could to some people. They see the acronym and take it to a personal level.

Yes, swearing is all around us now. There's no avoiding it. Television allows cursing and many kids watch it. I think they should allow non-excessive cursing, but if they're not, then not even acronyms should be allowed.

I would understand when people say "stfu" jokingly, but when someone says something along the lines of "stfu ur annoying" it could hurt someone's feelings.
