Bedrock Support for more languages on Bedrock

Hello, CubeCraft Team!

As a big fan of CubeCraft, I often invite my friends to join me and have fun on the server. However, some of them feel hesitant because the entire environment is in English, which can be tiring and intimidating for players who are not comfortable with the language.

While English is a global language, many people are still not fully confident in using it. This is especially true in countries like China, where exam-oriented education often limits practical English proficiency. Therefore, I kindly request that you consider adding support for more languages. This would make it easier for players from different regions to enjoy the game and help create a more inclusive and welcoming community. I would also like to contribute to the translation into Simplified Chinese as a native speaker.

Hm, you have a good point, many people from the middle-east arenr comfortable with English, BUT you are able to chat in game in any language, although they should add it to discord

You can communicate with them in the language you want using the chat, but if you want to change the language of the server completely, this is almost impossible unless you search for a mod that changes the language of the game, but I do not think this will do the trick.

Thanks for replying! While CubeCraft doesn’t limited the language to use in game chat, translating from English for my friends do takes longer time. In some quick games like MinerWare, even I’m translating for them in the voice chat, sometimes they don’t have the time to understand and take action before the game starts. So if more languages can be supported, players from all over the world will be able to have fun together without language barrier in the most of games

Thanks! But translating from English for my friends do takes longer time than supporting more languages. And sometimes in some quick games like MinerWare, even if we’re in voice chat, they might not get enough time to understand what I’m saying and take action before game starts.

As far as I know, supporting more languages in CubeCraft is 100% possible. However, I don’t know if they added the support for internationalization while developing the server plugins(probably not). If they didn’t do so, a massive rewrite of code might be required. But I do think supporting more languages will attract more players. So they may need to consider if this is a good deal
